On October 12th of the current year, H.E. Teodolinda Rosa Rodrigues Coelho, Ambassador of the Republic of Angola to Japan, participated as Guest of Honor at the SOKA University Festival, in which diplomats from SADC countries also participated.
The SOKA University Festival is a cultural musical event organized and directed by students from the institution’s most diverse courses and includes the presentation of concerts, exhibitions and other cultural and recreational demonstrations, such as dance, music, acting and poetry. The event program also included the presentation of honorary diplomas to the most outstanding students, as well as the presentation of performances in the field of fine arts and a musical concert hosted by the university’s different bands and choral groups that showcase classical musical scores by famous composers. at a global level.
Other art preforms, exhibitions of scientific works and experiments and small stands displaying some local delicacies and drinks were also presented.
In her intervention, the Ambassador of Angola thanked the invitation and promised to work so that Angolan students can in the future benefit from the scholarships offered by the University, as well as promoting cooperation between this educational institution and its Angolan counterparts.
