On October 18th of the current year, HE Teodolinda Rosa Rodrigues Coelho, Ambassador of the Republic of Angola to Japan, traveled to the City of Maebashi (Gunma Prefecture), to participate in the launch of the Initiative, Café de Angola connecting cultures and the world”, an initiative within the scope of the policy of economic diversification, internationalization and export of products with the “made in Angola” seal, to different international markets, with special emphasis on products such as coffee, wood, materials construction, drinks and soft drinks, among others, as a way of presenting the brands that exist in our country to the world.
The Café de Angola initiative was organized in partnership with the company Pango Consulting Group and Goshuen Hall, an event that included the participation of local businesspeople and coffee lovers, including some representatives of institutions dedicated to the commercialization and import of coffee. same product at the Japanese level.
Participants at the Café de Angola event had the opportunity to taste our coffee (a global reference), as well as learn about the history of production, its ecological traits and get to know the main Coffee brands in our market. The tasters, mostly bar traders, businesspeople and the general public, took advantage of the occasion to celebrate the advances of the coffee industry in Angola in a festive atmosphere, promoting the sharing of ideas and the exchange of contacts for future partnerships.
The visit to the city of Maebashi (Gunma) culminated in a courtesy meeting between H.E. Mrs. Ambassador and H.E Mrs. Akira OGAWA, Mayor of the City of Maebashi, in which the creation of future initiatives aimed at bringing together and exchange between the City of Maebashi and some Angolan cities were discussed in a generic way.
