SOUTH AFRICA: CYRIL RAMAPHOSA’S INVESTITURE IN IMAGES

In Pretoria, the inauguration of the President of the Republic of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa, winner of the recent multi-party elections held in the country, took place this Wednesday, June 19th.

Approximately 20 Heads of State attended the ceremony with their presence. They were joined by Vice Presidents, Prime Ministers and other heads of delegations, and the number of local entities that witnessed the historic event was also very representative, including politicians, men from Academia, Culture, Sports, Science and religious denominations.

The President of the Republic of Angola, João Lourenço, took part in the inauguration ceremony of the elected President of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa, which took place today at the Union Building, the Presidential Palace in Pretoria. President João Lourenço, leading one of over forty invited foreign delegations, landed the day before in South African territory to witness the historic event, also in his capacity as the Acting President of the Southern African Development Community (SADC).
